For technical questions, suggestions, requests and reports of errors please contact: Gerhard Koscher. Requests for extended rights of access will be forwarded, if necessary, to the persons in charge.

Conditions

Javascript and cookies must be enabled. Also allow pop-up windows from this site (will not be misused for advertising!).

Do not enable your browser to save form data. This is neither appropriate nor acceptable for security reasons. If you use a computer, used from more than one person, you should always log out.

Initial registration (New user) for all forums and databases at the ITAT

To be able to enter data in the database, you have to register with the system once. With most databases a new user account has to be activated by the administrator and accredited the necessary permissions.

Members of the University of Graz should not click on "new user", but rather use their UNIGRAZonline-account to "log in!" They are automatically registered and their account will be activated for certain databases. Nevertheless they can later change their personal data (for the DB-forum).

On no account should you later register a second time as "new user", because then you will lose all your user permissions.
You can however modify your personal data any time, by clicking after login on your name in the top right corner. If you forgot your login data (user name, password), please contact Gerhard Koscher.

Cookies

... are used for access restriction and easier surfing. By means of a cookie a unique token is saved on your computer, corresponding to the one saved on the server. This helps to prevent your password from being sent via the internet by each login (with http: unsecured).
Forgot password (only concerns users who do not use the UNIGRAZonline-Account)

Passwords are saved encoded only once on the server. They can momentarily be reset only by Gerhard Koscher, but he cannot read them. To reset your password send him an e-mail with your user name. You will receive a response with your new password to the e-mail address, which you have indicated for your registration. Since e-mails are not secure, you should change your password as soon as possible by following these steps:
1. After logging in with the received password click on your name and surname.
2. Write your new PW in the two empty fields.
3. Click Save.
